The cottage is beautiful. It is very small but so comfortably furnished and well-equipped. The village is beautifully quiet and the pub is excellent! I listened to so much bird song and enjoyed a lovely peaceful afternoon sitting out in the garden. The Granary is a unique and quaint property. It’s small but very well designed and well equipped. The garden is lovely, providing a seating area and access to a wonderful pond. The owners are very welcoming and were keen to make our stay enjoyable without being intrusive. This cottage was a little gem. Well equipped and very comfortable within walking distance of a very good pub and convenience store. Excellent inland and coastal walks from the doorstep. A short drive to the free car park at Mount Batten where you can hop onto the passenger ferry to Plymouth. Had a lovely orchard area with a pond teeming with wildlife. Also had a good parking spot.
