Quaint & compact cottage, very quiet location but great for venturing further a field from. Really good pub/restaurant very close by, but remember to book before you arrive or you’ll not get a table! Fantastic walks to Wenbury along the coast. Noss Mayo circular walk isn’t to be missed!

Best way to Plymouth is by ferry you catch from Mount Batten.

A very cosy, comfortable cottage in a lovely setting in a great location. The owners are welcoming, friendly and helpful, yet unobtrusive. We will definitely bear it in mind for a future stay.

We would certainly use the cottage again hopefully later in 2022.

Lovely quiet cottage with friendly and helpful owners with good local knowledge. Nice village with good local shop and pub. Short walks to the coast in several directions.

Our stay at Princes Granary cottages exceeded our expectations. Before arrival we were sent lots of information to help us with our stay including events in the local areas and suggestions of things to do (this was extremely helpful and saved a lot of time researching the area ourselves). Once we arrived we were greeted by the lovely owners who were very accommodating and even offered professional massage therapy services! The grounds of the cottage were very well kept with an orchard (fresh apples available) and a garden area with table and chairs. We had all the facilities we needed in the cottage, it was extremely clean and the little touches didn't go unnoticed including fresh flowers and baked biscuits. The sleepy town of Down Thomas was perfect for our stay with one very local pub (practically next door) and another down the road. We had some beautiful walks and enjoyed many days at the beach only a short walk away! Would definitely recommend and return ourselves!

Wonderful cottage in a great location

A really lovely, peaceful and welcoming place to stay in an unspoilt area of Devon. Thank you.

Perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing break.

Lovely stay. Sue very welcoming and made sure we were ok. We loved the gas log burner and well equipped kitchen. Nice touch was milk, tea and biscuits

Quaint and cosy, very pleasant and helpful owners. plenty of easy parking.

This is a gorgeous, beautifully equipped cottage in an idyllic location run by friendly, thoughtful owners.

Lovely stay at princes granary - thanks to the owners for making our stay super relaxed. The cottage was cosy with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location was peaceful, in walking distance to the beach and the nearby ‘Mussle Inn’ pub was a bonus too (great pub food)!

Lovely cottage, in the perfect place to explore Plymouth without staying in there, along with going to Wembury beach and other great destinations

Such a wonderful place , quiet friendly village .

It was wonderful to have bath sheets, rather than just bath towels. We felt very welcome.

We totally agree, it's the little touches that help to make a holiday even better! We're delighted that you enjoyed your break. The Classic Team

A very quaint and quirky cottage ideally placed for walking parts of the South West Coastal path. A very comfortable stay and very friendly helpful hosts. A very enjoyayable break for us staying in this lovely cottage.

Lovely cottage, great location, easy parking, everything was perfect , just found the stairs awkward, a larger person would struggle using them, this should be mentioned in the description.

Thanks for sharing your review of Princes Granary - we're so glad you liked it. We do highlight the narrow wooden stairs on the website, along with the external stone steps, as we realise that these won't suit every guest. We're sorry that you found the stairs awkward and would be very happy to answer any specific questions you have about access next time you plan a holiday. Tanya, Customer Support

Owners of cottage were very helpful.

I had a lovely stay, the cottage was welcoming and very relaxing, had everything you needed. Would definatly stay again.

Perfect holiday getaway for a couple or single person - lovely setting and garden, and the property itself is beautifully presented and maintained. Great location for walks along the coast path. Thank you to Sue for a friendly welcome and cream tea on our arrival.

Gorgeous Cottage for two, lovely romantic getaway in beautiful countryside, the perfect base to explore such an amazing area with fantastic coast lines and beaches and so many superb little towns and coves to explore. We loved our mini break and it certainly recharged the batteries. Our hosts were very accommodating and the cottage is very tastefully furnished. There is an extensive amount of maps and information to help you decide what to do. I would highly recommend this cottage

Really nicely decorated and maintained. Lovely bed- with an especially comfy mattress! Great kitchen equipment. Lovely walks near the cottage. Excellent accomodation . Lovely setting

Princes Cottage is a lovely quaint and quirky cottage that is ideal for getting away from the world. It's a perfect size for two, with everything that you need at hand. Just a mile away, down a rural road, lies what is arguably the most stunning part of the south west coastal path.

We had a wonderful stay at the Princes Granary, it could not have been more perfect! We have already decided to book again for future visits to Devon as we became so fond of it. Thank you!

I would strongly recommend that guests consider the massage/beauty therapy treatments available next door via the owner - convenient, great value and really really good! I had a wonderful time - a real home from home - and I would unreservedly recommend this cottage to either single travellers or couples. A great holiday - thanks!
