Enjoyed our stay, would recommend this cottage but obviously pointing out steep steps, I know steps were mentioned in the description, luckily we didn’t have heavy cases.

We are so pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay at Princes Granary. If may be helpful to note that once guests have accessed the property through the external steps, they are able to bring luggage in directly from the ground floor, we mention this in the reception details to try and save any heavy lifting. Thank you again for your feedback. Lucy, Customer Support ...

I had a wonderfully restful week, walking, swimming and writing. I've returned home feeling refreshed and grateful. Sue and Andy were very helpful, both before and during my stay, providing me with a hot water bottle and an extra beach towel. At the same time they were discreet and unobtrusive and I was glad to have them available for local advice. I really liked the decor and the way all the amenities and equipment were designed to fit in with the size of the cottage. Everything had been thought through, with lots of helpful small touches. It was lovely and clean, cosy and cute, welcoming. ...

A delightful cozy cottage with everything you need.

A lovely cottage for one or two people. Cosy and Comfortable with everything you need to enjoy a quiet break away. There are Steps outside up to the front door to the lounge dining area kitchen and bathroom. Narrow stairs inside take you down to the bedroom . So not so suitable for people with less mobility. Also you have to think how many times you need to get up in the night to use the bathroom!. A bonus if you sleep through. The village is quiet with a fully stocked shop and a lovely pub just a few steps away . Staff and owners were welcoming and many locals were to be seen enjoying a meal with their families and friends. Advisable to book in advance so not to be disappointed. Plenty of outside seating too with beautiful views of the countryside. Their Sunday lunch was very tasty and were serving until 5pm. Two lovely Beaches are to be found a short walk away, along a country road and down a short pathway . Or you could take the car and Park and Display in the car parking area above the bays. There is also a cafe with seating inside and outside and public toilets . What more could you want. Just Perfect. ...

Relaxing short break in this lovely, super clean and well equipped cottage. Cottage was in a very peaceful village and had a lovely pub just up the road, the Mussel Inn which was excellent. The Cottage was ideally situated for visiting the immediate local area on foot, Wembury, Heybrook Bay, Bovisand. Would definitely recommend. ...
