Woonsmith is a lovely cottage, it is beautifully decorated and very clean. It has a lovely garden, from which you can see horses, the cows passing by, other wildlife and you can hear the owls. The owners are friendly and helpful.

My daughter, our little pug Donut and I stayed 8 days at Woonsmith. We had a wonderful time there, despite the weather which wasn’t so great. Alan and Julie are wonderful hosts, even getting in touch with us before we got there making sure we are not having trouble finding the cottage. Generally speaking, the cottage is a place where you love to come back after a busy day out. It’s always warm and inviting. They did a great job combining the charm of an older house with a new extension flooded with light. The new kitchen is fantastic, with some very modern und comfortable features, I already miss. The bedrooms are beautiful with lots of storage space and very comfortable beds. The bathrooms are a little small but perfectly adequate - best shower ever. Our dog felt at home right away. Alan and Julie had a bag with blankets and treats for him prepared, which was really nice and unexpected. As well as the welcome scones, jam and cream for us in the fridge. He had no trouble settling into his new surroundings. The most important thing when travelling with a dog. I very much enjoyed the peaceful area, the big garden with a beautiful blooming wildflower bed. Nevertheless, it was only a 20 minutes drive away from Penzance, St. Ives, beaches and shopping. Simply, we had everything we need and would love to come back. ...

We had a lovely week at Woonsmith. The facilities are excellent with a modern, beautifully fitted kitchen. The showers are splendid and the beds comfortable. There is a pleasant outside sitting area with a lovely wildflower border. in all a great place to stay....
