We’ve just had a lovely family holiday here. The location is great, overlooking the estuary is wonderful. The barn is clearly loved by its owners, we love the artwork on the walls. The furniture is of very good quality and comfortable, it felt like being a guest in someone’s home. We particularly loved the children’s bedroom with en-suite bathroom. It’s such a clever use of space. The owners have left a great selection of dvd films to watch along with interesting books and cds to use. The kitchen is the hub of the house, with well stocked kitchen appliances and the range oven is excellent. An added bonus is the stack of games to use and a good selection of cook to inspire. The bedrooms are very comfortable, the beds and linen are of a very good quality. The pubs in the village are great, we all loved jumping off the quay opposite the Swan. In short we loved staying there and will be coming again! ...

We had a wonderful stay at The Barn. The property had everything we needed; a beautiful, comfortable, well thought out space with lots of games, puzzles and books - we enjoyed reading a little about the history of the property and the village. It's a very peaceful location and it's a short walk to two great pubs. ...

Beautiful property, with views of the river Yealm. It was very well equipped and had a lovely comfortable living room to relax in.
