Our holiday at Hoods was wonderful. From the moment we stepped in the door we felt welcome, helped by the brilliantly clean environment, fabulous funishings, beautiful views, and a welcome box of delicious treats. All of this combined to help the cottage feel like a special place to enjoy our stay in Dorset. Our family loved Hoods and our time there. We were all sad to be saying goodbye. Hoods turned out to be our favourite accommodation, from all we have stayed at over the years we have been holidaying in cottages in the UK. Our children said within hours of arriving, we're coming back here again. Couldn't fault the cottage at all. Location is stunning, a true getting close to nature experience. Facilities within are excellent and, what is really nice is the garden is truely dog friendly and secure. We will definitely return, hopefully not too far in the future....

We had a lovely stay at Hood's over Easter. The property is beautifully designed, furnished and equipped with everything you need. The view over the Somerset countryside is incredible and we spent a very happy day hanging out on the sunny terrace. Beaches are 15 minutes away, Bridport has great shops and there's even a vineyard within walking distance. Danette and Nick are wonderful, kind hosts and were on hand to help with anything. Its wonderful to stay on a working farm with chickens wandering around, and we had some lovely dog walks in the fields. Highly recommend, such a treat!...

We love staying at Hoods, this was our 6th time. The super king bed is good, bedding is tasteful and the bathrooms are great. The kitchen has everything we need, dining area really works and the sitting area with views across the valley is wonderful.
