The primary bedroom is serene with a super-king size bed (can be split into two twins) and luxurious linen.

The deck is very special with it's large dining-table, barbecue and panoramic views.

We love staying at Hoods, this was our 6th time. The super king bed is good, bedding is tasteful and the bathrooms are great. The kitchen has everything we need, dining area really works and the sitting area with views across the valley is wonderful. It’s very rare for us to stay in the same cottage more than once, but for Hoods we happily make an exception. It’s peaceful, comfortable and the owners have thought of everything. The same high standards were maintained on our return visit. The views are fabulous, and knowing the garden is secure for our inquisitive cocker spaniel means we can all relax. We will definitely return....

Hood’s is perfect in every way and even better than we hoped. The location is ideal and the views incredible. The house was spotlessly clean on arrival and it was clear that a tremendous amount of thought had gone into the decoration, furnishings and equipment. This was our second visit to this property so we knew what to expect. A perfect combination of quality furnished accommodation - highlights include underfloor heating, well thought out lighting, plenty of space indoor and out with views across the valley and beautiful decor throughout. The quiet location is perfect for the rolling hills and jurassic coastline of Dorset with lots of dog walking options and food and drink treats not far away - do drop into Furleigh Vineyard and the Washingpool Farm Shop for some local produce! We don't always return to holiday properties but this one definitely deserved a second (and probably a third) look....
