Castle Cary is steeped in history and has a wealth of quaint shop, pubs and tea rooms.

Great location with plenty of places to visit nearby. Many, many farm shops to choose from - and even local milk and cheese machines! Cottage was lovely - very well equipped and had everything we needed to cook dinner every night. Enclosed gardens were wonderful for our dog and it was fun to have sheep and deer grazing outside the windows! We had an amazing stay....

The cottage was in a beautiful location, very quiet and ‘off the beaten track’, but we did find it! Very clean, and although just one bedroom was spacious. Beautiful conservatory, calm and peaceful. The enclosed garden was perfect as we have a little dog Dishwasher was a bit ‘iffy’ but we hardly used t, so not really a problem for us. Would definitely revisit and recommend ...

Brilliant location for local exploring. Stourhead is close by and a must for a days visit. Perfect for our pooch as fully enclosed south facing garden. Lots of areas for dog walking on lead. Well equipped and comfortable cottage. Although a working farm - found to be quite quiet. We have booked again for a return visit later this year!...
