The kitchen is well-equipped but as you are so close to Cornwall's culinary capital, Padstow, we are not sure how much cooking will be done!

Located on the ground floor, this bedroom is perfect for anyone who might struggle with the stairs.

On the first floor, tucked under the eaves is the twin bedded room.

Packed full of character, please mind your head and note there is a step into the room.

The family bathroom can be found on the ground floor.
When it turns a little chilly, throw a log on the fire-pit.
A gateway leads though to a further garden-area.
This lawned area is perfect for garden games and where younger members and your four-legged friends can burn up any excess energy.
The Mowhay sits along a no-through country lane in the little hamlet of Crugmeer.
The little hamlet of Crugmeer is surrounded by countryside, yet so close to the ocean.
Padstow, the jewel in Cornwall's culinary crown, is only a 30 minute walk from The Mowhay.
The golden sands of Trevone Bay are a 15 minute walk away.
There's a great choice of beaches right on your doorstep, you can try a different one each day.
The north coast is quite spectacular.
For some fun on two wheels, head out along the renowned Camel Trail.

Great open plan cottage in a quiet road within easy reach of coastal walks and beaches. All usual facilities within the cottage were good, but some areas appeared a little tired and in need of attention.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Mowhay. It was our first holiday with a 3 week old baby, as well as 2 toddlers, and really it couldn’t have been a better place to stay. It was a very spacious cottage, was lovely and cool when it was hot outside, had a gorgeous garden with a bbq, and was very quiet and peaceful. We chose it for the proximity to Trevone Bay - our favourite beach in Cornwall. The bedding was very luxurious, to the extent I ordered the same pillows and duvet after we left! We had such a great stay we have already booked on for next year....

A wonderfully well equipped cottage with fantastic garden and within easy walking distance from the coastal path, beaches and Padstow. Nearby farm shop for supplies, cakes and pasties. Great choice of places to eat nearly. Would definitely like to return....

This was a first class choice for a short break…. A lovely cottage with very thick walls, so cosy.. All the equipment was good quality. The main bedroom was perfect with a huge bed and lovely bedding.. We left planning to return soon..

We found the house very comfortable and well equipped. It’s in a great location, next to the SW coast path and some lovely beaches. There’s also a path into Padstow, across farmland from the house. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.
