The Ferry Boat Inn on the banks of the Helford is a wonderful pub.

We had a lovely 2 weeks stay at Norway's cottage. The house was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. The farmer owner and his niece were very helpful, friendly and informative about the local area and were available for any queries..There were some beautiful footpaths all around the village including one nearby down to Maenporth beach . We enjoyed seeing the cows,deer and an owl during our stay. We would love to return again soon....

Norways Farmhouse was a lovely place to stay and we would definitely like to return here in the future. The quiet rural setting was ideal and we were surprised how easily we could reach Maenporth beach using a nearby footpath. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. A cream tea had been left out and there was butter and milk in the fridge. Rex, the owner, popped over soon after our arrival to say hello and to make sure we were settling in okay. The farmhouse has recently been updated and completely refurbished. Inside was immaculate and very comfortable and well equipped. The bright, modern kitchen diner was complemented by a cosy sitting room with a sunroom overlooking the fields. In the distance you can glimpse the sea. The house was a real home from home and would be a lovely place to stay for a family, with plenty of room and a nice private garden. We would recommend this property without hesitation to anyone thinking of staying here....

It truly did tick all the boxes for the perfect holiday right from the start with the delicious cream tea and warm welcome from the friendly owner. The refurbishment has clearly been a great success, especially the lovely bright kitchen. This is really a very special place with generous and helpful owners. The farm looks East down the valley to the sea. Sun rises are spectacular. Making use of the light, the house has been extremely skillfully redecorated and refitted in a bright contemporary style while at the same time sympatheticallyretaining the lived feel of the older building. There are walks in every direction to Maenporth Beach with its excellent cafe, the Halford Passage and beyond. Mawnan Smith has all the necessary facilities (shops, post office, pub) and there are regular buses into Falmouth. It’s worth a lot more than a second glance....
