Perfect property in Fabulous Fowey with its own allocated parking space

Ms Statham August 2025

We very much enjoyed our stay at The Doll's House. The accommodation is lovely and it is in a fabulous location! It was great to be able to walk into the town in just a few minutes. We loved the coastal walks and the ferry crossing points made it very easy to walk on the Polruan side, too. We also enjoyed a trip to Lanhydrock, which was only a short car ride away. ...

Great little house, ideal for a couple . Very near to town but the steep bank can be a challenge coming back up. Would recommend the Town Bus service if you need help with the climb. Nice partial view of the river from the dining table. "Upside down" layout works well, especially for unloading luggage and decor is nice. Great washer/dryer under stairs is useful for longer stays. Small patio gets sun in morning but in shade later in the day. Parking spaces are hard to find in Fowey, so having one, even if it's a little tight, is great. Would definitely stay again...

The Dolls' House is a lovely property for two just minutes walk away from the town and harbour and with the added bonus of a car parking space. In a quiet residential area with similar properties there are harbour glimpses from the upstairs living room. We only used the car once as the ferries are a great way to get around and there are lots of walks from the doorstep. We particularly recommend the Hall Walk plus the boat trip to Mevagissey is not to be missed. We ate out at Sunny Spice, The Ship Inn - very good and Sam's which was really good. Other nights we ate in using the wonderful produce from the Deli next to the church. ...
