Strawberry Hole Barn exceeded our expectations. The cottage itself is very spacious and tastefully furnished and is set in the grounds of the very friendly owner’s beautiful oast house conversion. The gardens around the property are large and well kept and the barn itself was bigger than we had expected. There were plenty of things to do and see in the vicinity with lovely local pubs. There were walks from the door and the garden was secure for our dog. The tranquil setting is what really sets this property apart and we would recommend it as a holiday destination without hesitation....

Strawberry Hole Barn is a beautiful property in a delightful setting. Fabulous location for visiting local gardens such as Great Dixter and Sissinghurst along with lots of other interesting things to do. We loved our stay.

A beautiful and unique property in a stunning location. Yes, it really is that big (no deceptive wide angled lens photography). Anyone walking in there for the first time will not be able to resist saying “Wow!”. But, once settled in, it quickly becomes homely, with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect for short trips to pretty towns and villages, historical properties (do not miss Great Dixter House, just a half an hour’s walk away), country walks, and even the coast. Would definitely recommend....

Excellent location, exceptional barn Beautiful surroundings , very peaceful Excellent eating pub nearby (The White Dog , Ewhurst) More towels please! Personal taste - Didn’t find the beds comfortable.
