You have your own private parking area to the side of Seascape-The Garden Flat, a real bonus for Polruan.
Arrive in style as you take the Bodinnick Car Ferry from Fowey to Polruan. There is also a foot ferry direct from Polruan to Fowey.
Right on the quayside The Lugger Inn is one of two traditional pubs in Polruan.
Polruan has a wonderful setting right on the headland at the mouth of the River Fowey.
The working fishing town of Looe provides traditional seaside charm where you can try your luck at crab, mackerel or even deep sea shark fishing.
At Lanhydrock (National Trust) you can explore the historic house, gardens and parkland or take to two wheels along the cycle trails.

Wonderful location with far-reaching views out to sea and a public bus stop within easy reach. Steep walk down to Polruan village and harbour and back up, so not ideal for those who struggle with hills. Very peaceful. Even though the access road to the village runs right past the flat, you're not aware of it as the terrace is behind the banked up lawn. Off street parking a huge bonus. ...

This property offers a good opportunity to explore Polruan and Fowey (just a short ferry journey from Polruan) without using the car but the walk back up the hill (known locally as the Polruan Plod) takes around 20 minutes. The sea views are amazing and we enjoyed watching boats of all sizes coming and going from the garden patio. The property has almost everything you'll need to to have a reasonably comfortable stay. The bathroom is on the small side but all other areas are very spacious. Parking is off road and very close to the back door. Fowey is a lovely little place and some very good pubs and restaurants with a small convenience store. ...
