?????????? Absolutely Wonderful Stay! We had the most amazing time at this peak district cottage. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views,every window at the front seemed to frame a postcard perfect scene. The cottage itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and felt incredibly welcoming. You can really tell how much care goes into keeping it clean and comfortable. It was the perfect mix of peaceful nature and cozy charm. Waking up to the stunning scenery each morning made our stay unforgettable. Whether we were relaxing inside or exploring the surrounding area, it truly felt like a little slice of paradise. We can’t recommend this cottage enough and will absolutely be returning. We had a great stay at Wetley Abbey Cottage, during a grey and very cold week with our multi-generational group... the two grandchildren (3 and 1) loved the always warm and cosy reception rooms, where there was ample room to play with toys without getting under everyone's feet! The cottage was so warm and toasty we had no need for the log-burner, and plenty of hot water. It was spotless on arrival and the only thing missing in the well-equipped kitchen was a toast rack! The provision for food waste, recycling and general rubbish was excellent and easy to use, and the free EV charging was a great bonus... thank you! The location is so quiet but also close to Stoke, Trentham Gardens and the peak district, with a short drive to walks along the Caldon Canal at Cheddleton and for an easy visit to Leek for shops and a stroll... Highly recommended!...

We had an excellent stay as a multi-generational family group. The property is spacious, well equipped and in a very quiet location. We enjoyed visits to Trentham Gardens, Alton Towers and Tittesworth Reservoir, as well as swimming and a steam train ride. We would definitely recommend this cottage....
