Bourton-on-the-Water is a popular destination with the gently flowing River Windrush running through the centre of the village and crossed by attractive little bridges.
One of the delights of visiting the Cotswolds is exploring the different areas, each with its own identity, yet all with those defining Cotswold features: golden stone and rolling hills, the ‘wolds’.

We had a wonderful stay at The Gallery. The location is amazing, tucked away and very peaceful but very near to Burford and other local pubs and villages. We loved watching the cows in the fields around the property and we spent some relaxing evenings watching the sunset in the garden. We had a great Sunday roast at The Hare pub nearby and also visited the Farmers Dog which isn't far which was very busy! Thank you for a lovely stay. ...
