What can we say The Barton was everything previous visitors had said and so much more. Emma has done an excellent job and is a very good host. We have stayed in a number of Classic Cottages and this one certainly had the Wow factor and is so well placed to visit this part of Cornwall and with the King Harry ferry so close so accessible to the Roseland peninsula. We certainly intend to revisit....

Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohlgefühlt im Barton! Es gab ein sehr warmes Willkommen von der lieben Emma und trotzdem hatten wir absolute Privatshpäre. Die Wohnung ist so schön und behaglich, mit viel Fingerspitzengefühl eingerichtet und es gibt alles was man so braucht. Die Wanderwege starten praktisch direkt am Haus und der nächste Supermarkt und Pub ist nur 5 Min. mit dem Auto entfernt. Eine große Freude und hoffentlich kommen wir bald wieder!...

The Barton is a beautiful cottage which is even nicer than the website pictures. It is comfortable and surprisingly spacious, and was spotlessly clean. Emma is an excellent host, who has clearly put a lot of effort into making The Barton a lovely holiday property. I'm quite fussy about holiday cottages, but this one is a real gem....

A cosy, comfortable and very well equipped cottage suitable for a self catering holiday. The cottage is in the grounds of the owner’s home. The owner was helpful but not intrusive. Good location being very close to Truro and excellent for the places we planned to visit. A cream tea awaited us on our arrival, a lovely touch. Waitrose delivered to the door. We had a wonderful week....
