High Cliff

We had a relaxing week at High Cliff. The location is perfect with stunning views over the bay and we spend a lot of time outside watching sunsets or looking through the binoculars and watching birds / activity on Poppit Sands. The property was spotless which was brilliant as often homes are a little grubby. The house was well equipped and had everything we needed to enjoy a week away. The hot tub was perfectly positioned with views of the bay and great privacy from the neighbours. Having the Cliff Hotel/ Spa a few yards from the property was great bonus, it’s a good Spa and the restaurant a few doors down serves good food too. This is definitely a place we would return to. We are missing the view already! ...

We enjoyed an excellent holiday in this delightful, very well equipped and spotlessly clean house. The views are stunning and the location is ideally situated to visit many local beaches and attractions. The Cliff Hotel and Flat Rock bar and restaurant are within easy walking distance for drinks on the terraces. A short distance across the estuary is The Teifi Waterside Hotel that provides good food....

My wife and I stayed at High Cliff in mid May and were lucky enough to have a week of great weather. The cottage is situated in one of the finest locations we have ever stayed in and would never have tired of the view on offer from the living room and front bedroom. Saw several amazing sunsets from the seating area in the front garden. The cottage itself is a great place to stay, excellent furnishings and fittings throughout. It had the best WiFi of any property we’ve stayed in (properly super fast), an excellent kitchen with a superb range too (gas hob, electric oven) and everything you would need to make whatever meal you fancied. Pots, pans etc also all top quality. The rear garden was a good size and had a terrific hot tub, easy to uncover and use. It was also checked every day by the very helpful (but non intrusive) owner. Had a delicious Sunday carvery at The Cliff hotel just down the road and the walk around their grounds and the coast path gave some fantastic views. Mwnt beach close by is amazing as is Poppit sands when the tide is out. Cardigan is also a very short drive for provisions (Tesco and Aldi) and has a historic, bustling town centre. We would highly recommend a stay at High Cliff and look forward to returning very soon. Gwbert…one of the best places you’ve never heard of. ...

Such a fantastic cottage with absolutely amazing views. The house was spacious and well equipped with everything you could need. The views were amazing, being able to watch the tides and sunsets a definite bonus. The hot tub was much appreciated after a long day of walking along the coastal path just outside the front door. This property was also only a short drive from other beautiful locations for walking and other amenities. All round a fabulous stay and I'm sure we'll be back!...

This is an impeccably kept and very beautifully decorated home and very clean to boot. Three double bedrooms are lovely, the master bedroom faces the sea and you can see beautiful sunsets from there and from the lovely living room. The view is breathtaking at times. The bunk beds are appropriate for small children. The showers are wonderfully powerful and there is bath to soak in. It was a real treat to have the hot tub too! There are lots of seating areas in and outside the house and a lovely garden to enjoy. The kitchen is big and another lovely space to prepare meals. Walking is a joy there because you always have the sea with you and finding little hidden away beaches was a wonderful experience and I found all of them easy to reach. Plus there is lot to do in the area and the house is a lovely place to return to for a relaxing evening. It’s a lovely place to have a nice break I highly recommend it. ...
