From the moment we parked up to leaving the house on the last day, the property and its garden didn’t fail to impress. The setting was idyllic. Gardens well kept and beautiful. Scenery and outlook so serene, felt like a retreat. The house decor was stylish, bed rooms were lovely, facilities and kitchen equipment top quality, well equipped too. Loved the pottery in the kitchen. This house is amazing in all weathers, sunny or grey as the roof lantern in the kitchen adds so much light. Much reading material to choose from too. Lerryn is a good 25 minute walk but surrounding countryside is pretty and there are public footpaths all around. If you are looking for ‘quiet and beautiful’ this the place to escape to. I think we’ll find it hard to find another property that matches this one and we come to Cornwall a lot. We loved it here. Hope to return soon. ...

A wonderful property for those seeking a peaceful location with excellent views over the river Fowey. The house is comfortable and well-equipped with plenty of space for a mixed group of all ages. Lovely garden with a great BBQ. The location is a little remote along very narrow lanes, but there are good facilities, pub, shop etc in nearby Lerryn, or slightly further away at Lostwithiel. Quite an easy journey over to Fowey via the nearby car ferry service. Be aware that the steps access from the garden down to the river are very steep, and the river, whilst good to look at, would not however be recommended for fishing or swimming....

If you're looking for deep relaxation in a stunning setting, this is your spot. The house itself is spacious, comfortable and well-equipped, with plenty of places to settle into a squishy sofa and read one of the many fascinating books. The garden, with its direct access to the river, is a joy. Mud-larking, glorious sunsets and endless birdsong make this a very special holiday destination.
