I had a wonderful stay at the surf shack and will definitely be back. It is small and compact but has everything I needed.

Beautiful setting. The views really are something especially at sunset. Cabin was cosy & comfortable with everything you need. Kitchen very well fitted out. Be mindful there are many many steps to get to the beach/Sennen Cove from the property so this is definately not for people with mobility issues. ...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Surf Shack - small but perfectly formed with amazing views! No trouble at all parking. Wonderful to sleep with the sound of the sea! Had everything we needed for our stay and I would thoroughly recommend.

We were disappointed with the size of this property. The bathroom is directly opposite the tiny kitchen. The sink in the bathroom was so small you could not even wash your hands in it nevermind wash your face. There was a mirror above the sink which stuck out over the sink restricting the use of the sink even more. The "kitchen" had no storage for anything you brought with you, there was a black corner shelf but this was used for cups and glasses. There was no microwave as stated in the facilities. The living area was tiny with a large sofa......which is far to big.......and a large double bed. The bed is right up against the side so the person on that side cannot get out without climbing over thier partner. There is a basic hang rail for clothes at the end of the bed but this is useless as it's jammed against the bed and difficult to use. You cannot practically use the oven and make a meal due to the size and space. The view from the window is nice but only when standing up. There is nowhere to change after having a shower apart from in the tiny space in the living / bed room. We also felt that there is no mention of how steep it is to walk down to the beach. There are around over 70 steep steps that lead down to the front or you can go a longer way, via a public path that is very steep going down so going back up is not an option. We are very active but found the steps a tall order after a few journeys. Parking is an issue so you have to park along the lane and walk the rest. Overall this property needs a redesign to make maximum use of the limited space. We believe is not big enough for 2 people and a pet. The furniture / bed are outdated and the owner really needs to stay in this porta cabin to understand what we are highlighting, as I do not think this has been done. We paid nearly £1000 for a week, we left 2 days early due to how small it was. Anyone who is tall will hit their head on the door frame leading into the living / bed room. We feel the description does not give the true account of how small this cabin is....

We try to ensure that our photos and description accurately reflect the size and facilities available, so we are sorry if this was not what you had anticipated, as we always want to ensure that guests expectations are met if not exceeded. The Surf Shack is all about the location and making the most of a fantastic surfing location. It is undeniably small, something that we feel is suitably conveyed in the photos and description; but has been cleverly designed by the owners to maximise the space, providing a bed, seating and adequate cooking facilities for 2. We appreciate that this space and steep walk to the beach may not work for everyone, but for others, The Surf Shack is a firm favourite for a little escape. Classic Cottages ...
