We had a lovely stay at Shepherds Rest. It was in a quiet and beautiful setting and felt very private although in the grounds of the owners property. Shepherds Rest was well equipped and very comfortable and was perfect for the two of us to enjoy our stay and also for visiting the surrounding area. Would like to visit again in the warmer weather to make the most of the outdoor areas that come with it, that looked very inviting. Katy was lovely and very welcoming and friendly and informative about places to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the provisions and treats left for us by Katy. Would definitely like to return....

Had a lovely autumn break at this property…….. I don’t know about the Shepherd, but we certainly felt rested after our weeks stay! Katy is a wonderful host, and made us feel very welcome along with providing some generous provisions on arrival.
