Welcome to stunning Lamellen House.
What a treat - a heated indoor pool.
Lamellen House is presented in a style that complements the house but makes you feel totally relaxed and at home.
There's a choice of seven bedrooms on offer.
Anyone for tennis?
Step inside the sitting-room.
The early sun streams into the first sitting-room, making this the morning room.
The open fire will be a welcome sight on those out-of-season breaks.
Of course there's a grand piano - I feel a tune coming on!
Another open fire to keep you warm and toasty of chillier evenings.
Colours and print are mixed with abandon, as is typical of a grand house creating a relaxed atmosphere with a sense of heritage.
This is a bookworm's paradise, it's a great library and if that's not enough there are so many more books throughout the house.
When you want more formal dining or a celebratory meal, lay the table.
Plenty of room for all to gather, what wonderful mealtimes you will have.
Why not retire for a game of snooker after dinner?
The magnificent staircase makes a real statement.
The kitchen/breakfast-room is very much the working heart of the home.
The kitchen is well-equipped to cater for a crowd including the large Aga, as you would expect in a country house, and a further range oven.
The artwork at Lamellen adds character, tells a story and adds a sense of personality.
We just love the wallpaper in the downstairs cloakroom.
It's one very grand and very special house.
Bedroom 1 has a romantic canopied bed.
The patterned curtains perfectly dress the mullion windows.
Bedroom 1 has the luxury of a large dressing area, with a separate sink and oodles of storage.
The en suite can be accessed from bedrooms 1and 2.
Another grand and spacious room is on offer for the guests who are staying in bedroom 2.
The beds can be made up as twin beds or a super-king double - the choice is yours.
There's a little vanity unit for those staying in the second bedroom.
A wonderful, grand, king-size canopied bed in bedroom 3.
A little area of the bedroom to hide away, chilling out with a good book and soaking up the setting.
The third bedroom has a large en suite bathroom to enjoy long leisurely holiday soaks.
The family shower-room.
Even the family shower-room has a great view.
Take a peak into bedroom 4.
Depending on which your prefer, this room can have twin beds or a super-king double.
Plenty of bedtime reading and a TV for the guests in bedroom 4.
And yet another en suite, this time for bedroom 4.
Like most of the bedrooms, bedroom 5 also has flexibility as to how the beds are set up.
Take a pew at the weekend and simply enjoy all that surrounds.
The en suite to bedroom 5 can also be accessed from the hallway..
Bedroom 6 also has the option to be set up as twin beds or one super-king size bed, offering great flexibility for your party.
There are twin beds in bedroom 7.
Such a peaceful space.
This is one very special house that will keep everyone entertained.
If you don't fancy a dip, you can simply pull up a chair and watch the others at play.
Why not have some holiday meals, poolside.
Step inside and a warm Cornish welcome awaits you.
Lamellen House stands majestically in the grounds of the estate.
This stunning magnolia puts on a stunning display, and signifies the start of Spring.
The large terrace beckons you outside to enjoy your meals in the Cornish sunshine, freshly prepared on the barbecues and pizza oven.
The pizza oven is another treat.
The grounds are simply stunning with camellias, magnolias, rhododendrons and hydrangeas creating a colourful display. Please take care with young children around the pond - which is set a distance away from the house.
The grounds are yours to explore.
The pretty village of Port Isaac is close by. This is a destination hotspot being the home of TV's 'Doc Martin', The Fisherman's Friends and celebrity chef Nathan Outlaw.
The beach at Polzeath is an absolute stunner, adored by families and surfers alike.
The trendy fishing town of Padstow needs little introduction, home to Rick Stein and other celebrity and acclaimed chefs, it has put Cornwall well and truly on the culinary map.
The popular St Kew Inn is nearby and well worth a visit.
For a complete change of scenery, head out to the dramatic landscape of Bodmin Moor.
The sheltered waters of Daymer Bay makes this beach ideal for younger members of the family.
A cycle along the Camel Trail is a real thrill. 17 miles in total from Bodmin Moor out to Padstow on the coast but don't worry, you can join it at various points along the way.
The nearby village of Boscastle.

A truly magnificent, clean and spacious property, in the most peaceful and picturesque setting imaginable. The gardens are very well kept and you could spend a week exploring the outdoor space alone. The only downfall was that two of the bath / shower mixer fittings were broken on arrival. Given there is only the ONE walk in shower available throughout the property .... this presented an issue. ...
