We had a very comfortable stay at The Old Pottery. The cottage was nicely decorated for Christmas and was warm and welcoming when we arrived. Owners and dog next door very friendly. It was the first time we had been away with our dog and he had a great time with a safe enclosed garden and lots of room to run around. We had Boxing Day lunch at the Coach and Horses Inn, Buckland Brewer after a good walk at Westwood Ho! Traditional pub grub and a warm welcome (there is another pub with the same name fairly close by which didn't look as nice). We were only at the cottage a short while over Christmas so didn't get to explore further but there were plenty of places nearby to go. We would happily return for a longer stay....
