The lodge is absolutely amazing. We went as a group of 4 couples and the space was perfect for us. We had great fun in the large open space behind the dining area. Everyone loved the swimming pool and we were lucky to have some autumn sunshine so we got to sit out in the garden too. Brilliant having en-suites in every bedroom and the lounge is a lovely relaxing area to sit and watch some TV. The location is brilliant for getting out and about and Alex was so helpful. He even sent a thank you text when we left which was a really lovely touch. We will definitely visit again......

This place is massive. Only four double bedrooms, but with the large hall, sitting room, and outside space you could have many dozens of day-time guests (indeed the place has been used for weddings previously). One bedroom is downstairs, one up a flight of stairs, and two more up another flight of stairs at the other end of the house. The swimming pool and hot tub are fantastic. They are a minute's walk down the drive next to the owner's house, not adjacent to the rental property, and by key access, so it would be easy to keep children away if needed. The huge hall would be great for young children on a wet day - loads of room to play. For the noise-sensitive: the area is rural, but the building is close to the local road, so if you have the window open at night you can hear a car go past about every 20-30 minutes in the evenings. Amazing accommodation set in beautiful grounds with lots of animals and nature. Cottage was equipped with everything needed and more . Awesome pool and jacuzzi, fantastic hospitality from Alex the owner, fresh flowers in every room and a bottle of bubbly on arrival, a home made cake hand delivered from owner, what more could you want would highly recommend for family's or groups....
