The communal games-room is located near the orchard, just across the country lane from Swallows Rest.
Take a leisurely stroll along the River Gannel at Newquay.
Why not have a go at paddle boarding. Newquay has lots of options for all abilities.
Newquay is only four miles away, and has lots of amenities and activities to keep the whole family entertained.
St Agnes is a short drive away, and has a wonderful cove you can splash about in all day long.
Cornwall is famous for its beachside cafes, all serving delicious locally-sourced food and drinks!

We had a wonderful Christmas at swallows rest the barn was so cosy and warm with the log burner the rooms were beautiful the view to the fields with the horse s was lovely and our cocker spaniel enjoyed it too we would definitely come back again

We had a fantastic week at Swallows Rest. The cottage was super clean and presented to an excellent standard. The cream tea on arrival was delicious. Beautiful cottage in idyllic location. Very well equipped and extremely comfortable. The paddock for our spaniel was an added bonus. The log burner was great for chillier nights although the heating was more than sufficient. We could not fault Swallows Rest. It is conveniently located and all Cornish attractions were easily accessible. After long days of exploring we couldn’t wait to get back to relax by the fire. Can’t wait to visit again. ...

Swallows Rest is all you could wish for as a holiday destination.So much thought was obviously put into having everything you need plus lots of other details and little luxuries! It was so peaceful sat outside in the evenings listening to so many birds singing away, but also not too far to the beach at Mawgan Porth to see a beautiful sunset!
