Strawberry Water is a gorgeous house, in a peaceful position 10 minutes walk from Welcombe Mouth beach. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, and very well equipped kitchen. We loved it. One caveat is that it is only part of a property, attached to and sharing gardens with Strawberry Water cottage, which is not clear on the website. Would be great for a bigger group to rent together. ...

Thank you so much for your lovely review of Strawberry Water. We are delighted you enjoyed the peaceful setting, comfortable rooms and well-equipped kitchen. Thank you too for your helpful feedback. While the photo captions mention the shared patio and show that another property adjoins, we agree this could be clearer in the main description and will review the wording. We’re so pleased you enjoyed your stay. Classic Cottages...

Mrs Kershaw April 2026
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful old cottage in Devon. The cottage was full of charm and character, with lovely traditional features that made it feel cosy and authentic. It was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing break. The location was perfect — peaceful countryside surroundings while still being close to lovely villages, pub, coastal walks, and local attractions. We especially enjoyed the quiet evenings and stunning views around the area. The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. If you’re looking for a relaxing family getaway in a charming Devon cottage, this is the perfect place. We would happily stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area....
