Maybe head up to Combe Marin for the day or drive along the coast and discover another coastal village.
Why not plan a trip to Lundy Island from Bideford Quay.
Head out along the coast paths, north or south you decide.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful old cottage in Devon. The cottage was full of charm and character, with lovely traditional features that made it feel cosy and authentic. It was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing break. The location was perfect — peaceful countryside surroundings while still being close to lovely villages, pub, coastal walks, and local attractions. We especially enjoyed the quiet evenings and stunning views around the area. The hosts were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout our stay, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. If you’re looking for a relaxing family getaway in a charming Devon cottage, this is the perfect place. We would happily stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area....

Beautiful setting, lovely property with plenty of space everywhere. Well-equipped and well presented. Would happily stay there again. Remote and beautiful surroundings.
