Henrosa

Henrosa was a lovely place to spend the week. It had everything we needed including the well stocked kitchen with handy items like dishwasher tablets, kitchen foil and antibacterial spray to name a few. The place was clean and well furnished. The welcome gift hamper was nice unexpected touch that we really enjoyed working our way through! The hot tub was also great. Laura was a great host, and when there was an incident with my child deciding to drink some of the hot tub water she went out of her way to quickly come down and help show me the products used for the tub so I could pass this info onto the medical services, thank you Laura. The views are amazing and we enjoyed seeing the sun set over the meadows. Would love to come back again one day....

We booked Henrosa as a treat to end my maternity leave. What a wonderful stay it was. The location is absolutely stunning, so private with far reaching views and glimpses of the sea in the distance! The decor and cleanliness of the property was amazing. Everything felt so luxurious and both myself and my husband and our 9 month old baby, plus the dog had the best stay! The property is great for babies with it all being on one level and is really dog friendly too! We loved the location and thought Bude was lovely and the beaches were beautiful! We can’t wait to go back to Henrosa in the future and make more memories as a family. The owners were also fantastic at answering any questions we had. Cannot recommend enough! ...

Henrosa was a really beautiful place to spend the weekend, felt secluded yet a short drive away from Bude where there is plenty to do. So well furnished and decorated with everything you need! Loved it!

We stayed at Henrosa for 3 nights and it was such a wonderful stay. The lodge exceeded expectations in every way: it was clean, modern, cosy, fully equipped with everything we needed (and more!), it's dog friendly, the views were outstanding, the hot tub and outside area was phenomenal, it was private and in a very quiet location. It was only a 5-10 minute drive to Bude, the beaches and other places we wanted to visit. The owners were really friendly and attentive. Absolutely loved it and would definitely go back! ...

I recommend anyone to stay here. It’s absolutely stunning. It will make you feel right at home - but better. We roasted marshmallows over the fire pit, the children loved it. The place is cozy in the evenings with the log fire, there’s a coffee machine with plenty to choose from, including hot chocolate, there’s games for the family. The hot tub is in a great place to relax while looking at the view. We found when it was sunny, we didn’t want to go out, we wanted to stay here and take it all in, it’s private, a real hidden gem. You feel like you’re a million miles away! Local town and supermarkets are no longer than 10 minutes in the car. Perfect location. Lovely hosts. Will be returning.
