Second year in a row that we have stayed at Dale Cottage. We absolutely love the property, its location and St Agnes as a whole. Dale cottage is in a great location within walking distance of the village shops and several restaurants and pubs. The garden is lovely, very pretty and dog friendly. We found it very clean and well equipped. The stairs are quite steep and the garden has different levels so not an ideal property for someone with mobility issues. Our family of four adults had a wonderful holiday at Dale Cottage and wouldn’t hesitate to book it again....

Dale Cottage was a disappointment due to various glitches down to out of date or non-existent instructions eg as to central heating / TV etc

Very pretty well equipped and Very nice front garden Saint Agnes is a lovely village with great facilities and a real village feel rather than tourist attraction However We had four of our days interrupted by a A noisy marquee and inflatable business in the field next door The garden behind is backing onto the property and overlooks it this wasn’t a problem for us because nobody was staying there, but I should imagine it’s not as nice if somebody was staying in the property next door Distance to the beach was further than we expected We had to turn the heating off at night as there was a very noisy clicking noise in the master bedroom from the pipework The property looks bigger than it actually is on the website. There were three adults staying in the property. We did feel that we were kind of on top of each other. I can’t imagine what it would be like with the maximum amount of people staying there....

Dale Cottage really does have all you could need and more for a wonderful holiday being a fully equipped charming cottage and a secluded garden with plenty of opportunities for eating alfresco. We agree that St Agnes is a great location to visit as it has a good local community which meant the owner was able to follow up your concerns with the neighbours. We are sorry your holiday was disrupted by noise and the source of this was a one-off event of the neighbour packing away their summer waterslide and installing a small marquee for the children to have fun with autumn apple pressing. Your comments about the heating will be investigated and resolved, we would have loved to have assisted with this during your stay. Checking with the Area Manager, who visits the property regularly, they can confirm the website reflects the property accurately and the neighbours are a suitable distance away for privacy. We do hope you were able to visit the beach, which is 0.7 miles away from the cottage, so you can leave the car behind and take a stroll to Trevaunance Cove. Sarah, Customer Support...
