The cottage was a barn conversion which had been very sympathetically done. Plenty of living space and although we were just 2, the barn would easily accommodate 4 comfortably. Sofas, beds and living accommodation were very comfortable, kitchen was very well equipped. Lovely garden to sit in. Within easy reach of Brighton, Eastbourne, Hastings, Battle and Rye. Rye Harbour was a great find with a very good pub. The narrow gauge railway running from Dungeness to Hythe made a very good day out. Lovely comfortable and cosy cottage very handy for visiting a wide area of East Sussex. Owners very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.

But the coast with the Seven Sisters and Hastings were also worth a visit. And Rye is very close by with its winding streets. ...

We had a lovely stay with our two young children. This is a really special place with great access to the Rye and Hastings areas. The owners were very welcoming and having the friendly dogs around was an added plus :)
