Streamside Cottage

We were 3 singles and found the cottage very comfortable and well equipped. The shower was good and towels very nice. Lots of local walks availble and a bus, so we did not use our cars all week. The Kings Arms, the community shop and Otterton Mill provided for all our catering needs. Our 2 dogs enjoyed the interesting and enclosed garden...

This is a beautiful cottage, warm and cosy, well equipped and in a lovely location. No problem with the off street parking as the bridge is plenty wide enough! Otterton Mill is within walking distance, as is the pub, and both are dog friendly, serving great food. ...

This is certainly more of a home than a holiday house as the level of decor and furnishings are above the standard of many other rentals. Provision of cooking facilities and utensils enable home cooking for those that wish to, but the local pub, The Kings Arms, is also an excellent option. For those that require gluten free options this is the place to go. The onsite parking could be difficult for some as the bridge you have to reverse over and the gate entrance are both quite narrow. However, at the time of our visit there was plenty of street parking. We were extremely lucky with the weather, so the garden proved to be a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the sunshine. With tables spread around the garden you could always find a sunny spot. An easy walk to Otterton Mill gives the opportunity to enjoy fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh bread and the opportunity for an excellent coffee and cake before carrying everything back to the house. This is a lovely property and we hope to return one day....

Streamside Cottage is one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in. Very well equipped with everything you need. Cozy and comfortable. Lovely modern kitchen diner and bathroom. Nice garden to sit out in warmer weather. A bonus to have off road parking but could be tricky to reverse in over the bridge and through the gate if you have a large car. The village of Otterton is very pretty and has a shop, pub and the lovely Otterton Mill cafe, bakery and craft shop. Lots of nice walks along the river and many lovely places to visit nearby....
