The property is lovely and the views are amazing, to be able to eat at the window and watch the sea is a joy. It is very clean and tidy and has everything needed for a break away. Totally recommend.

So much to love about Swn Y Don. Great location with amazing views across the coast. We loved sitting on the patio in the evening to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The house is well equipped and nicely furnished. We were very comfortable. Thank you to our hosts for the welcome gift of wine and local fruit cake. Much appreciated. Would recommend a stay in Swn Y Don for a relaxing holiday....

Another lovely property from Classic Cottages. Fantastic views. Need to be farly fit to walk down and up to Harlech and castle.

Mr Holland August 2025

The bungalow is as advertised very well apointed and very well maintained. We were able to visit all attractions on our wish list however the weather was hard to always predict. Even when the temperature dropped the property was cosy and with the views, even wild weather was incredible to see. If you are home as the sun sets you could be in for some incredible photo memories....

Mr Turner June 2025

Swn Y Don is a very comfortable, beautifully decorated bungalow with absolutely stunning views of Cardigan Bay all the way round to the end of the Llyn Peninsula. It is an excellent base for exploring the coast from Barmouth to Porthmadog and beyond. Harlech is a lovely town with an amazing castle, several cafes and interesting independent shops but the options for evening meals, at walking distance, are limited. We stayed from 20th - 27th June 2025 and found the fish & chip shop had gone, Plas Restaurant closes at 5.00pm out of season, the Lion Inn has no mention of food on its website and Castle Cottage restaurant was only open Friday and Saturday evenings. However, if you are wanting to eat out, there are several pubs or restaurants to choose from in nearby towns. We really enjoyed our week at Swn Y Don and would definitely recommend it as a place to stay in this area. Mr & Mrs Turner...
