Inglenook Cottage is at the top of the village, 15 minutes walk from the harbour and only 100 yards from the famous Crumplehorn Inn.

Looe Island sits majestically out in the water. Now a nature reserve, open for guided tours.
Historians and garden enthusiasts alike will enjoy a day at Lanhydrock (National Trust) with its historic house, stunning gardens and parkland along with a network of trails that will delight cycling enthusiasts.
Visit one of the many gardens in South Cornwall, including the iconic Eden Project.

I booked this cottage with Classic cottages as I had booked with them many years before and always found the properties to be of good standard. Unfortunately not this time. Although Classic state dogs welcome I assumed as they are known to be a premium booking company this wouldn’t be a problem to people without animals. I was mistaken the property clearly smelled of animals. This property was also marketed with a tv .. this is small and does not work in the evenings because of heavy traffic through the system , something that Classic cottage's knew about..,The bus stop across the road is handy. However, ALL the buses turn around a few meters from the property and the bleeping starts before 7am in the morning so if you want a lie in think again! We were blessed with the good weather but if we had not there isn’t enough space for 4 adults to eat comfortably …there are a few more small niggles that I wouldn’t expect from this company. The positives are excellent customer service when I contacted the office, the position of the property, the terrace ( if the weather is good enough) the beds and a decent enough bathroom. All in all we will not book this cottage again....

It must have been frustrating to have concerns with the TV; I'm delighted to say that since your visit the owners have installed BTTV and the old set top box decommissioned. The owners have updated so there is now access to EE, NOW TV and Netflix. We can imagine the smell of dog would be very strong if not a usual part of home life and we hope the diffusers went some way to alleviate the odour. How annoying to have beeping starting at 7am! We shall be making investigations to see if this is a seasonal concern although being in a village with nearby roads there will be some traffic noise. We do try to give as much information as possible on our website and show the breakfast bar as well as the charming garden seating area. Inglenook Cottage is a delightful place to stay, you won't be disappointed. Ideally situated for the stroll down to the harbour, with numerous places to eat and drink and lovely shops to browse local crafts. There are daily trips by boat to Looe, Fowey or along the coast, fabulous. Highly recommend a trip to Lansallos beach, car parking available- there's a bit of a walk down to it but well worth it as it's dog friendly and a lovely place to swim and picnic, and quiet. Walk from Polperro to Talland Bay is also a must, beautiful views. Highly recommend Inglenook and booking with Classic Cottages is always straightforward, staff are helpful and friendly. Beautifully furnished cottage, clean with a very well equipped kitchen , comfy bed and lovely fluffy towels. Perfect for 2 but I wouldn't recommend for 4 as the only shower/bath is the main bedroom ensuite and Downstairs accommodation is small but very cozy with just a narrow breakfast bar to eat at. The garden is not secure, but blocking the path with the 2 dustbins was enough to keep our well behaved lab in and safe. I would definitely recommend this cosy pretty cottage for 2 . Great location for coastal path walks with our dog with pubs, coffee shops, restaurants, supermarkets all close by. Lovely welcome pack provided , scones/ jam , flowers and dog treats too, much appreciated. ...

Go for it . It's one of the Best cottages we've stayed in and we fully recommend it . The location was excellent , it would have been even more better if the Sun was out . The locals were excellent , helpful and very friendly . Loads to do within an hour's driving in any direction . Great for walking with or without Dog's . ...
