Looe Island sits majestically out in the water. Now a nature reserve, open for guided tours.
Historians and garden enthusiasts alike will enjoy a day at Lanhydrock (National Trust) with its historic house, stunning gardens and parkland along with a network of trails that will delight cycling enthusiasts.
Visit one of the many gardens in South Cornwall, including the iconic Eden Project.
A little way down the coast discover the trendy sailing town of Fowey.

The cottage was very well placed both for visiting Polperro itself and for exploring the wider area. It was very well equipped and very dog friendly for our dog with treats, etc laid on for our visit. The scones for a cream tea were also very welcome! We had stayed the previous week further west and we had to buy tea towels and kitchen roll so it was nice to have absolutely everything we needed supplied at Ingle Nook. The parking was also very handy!!...

Lovely cosy cottage in excellent location , hidden away from the hustle and bustle of a popular tourist resort, yet close enough for a stroll into the various pubs, restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend. Bonuses are the parking space and beautiful enclosed and sheltered patio. Everything you would need for a perfect holiday ! ...

This is a lovely cottage which was perfect for my husband and I for a weeks stay in Cornwall. The cottage is very pretty and beautiful presented inside and out. It is well equipped and the welcome scones with jam and clotted cream were delicious. The cottage benefits from a parking space which is a godsend in Polperro. It is a short walk downhill into Polperro where there are plenty of pubs and restaurants many of which we tried, The Pilchards being our favourite. There are plenty of cafes for breakfast and again we tried four of them and they were all excellent. There’s an eclectic mix of shops and an excellent ice cream shop where they make their ice cream on the premises. Beware of incoming seagulls which snatched my husbands cone!
