Certainly the most quirky and well equipped cottage we have stayed in on our many travels to Cornwall.Loads of secure outside spaces to enjoy and the bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent Less than a minutes walk to the Miners Arms which was the focal point of the village of Mithian. We would most definitely return and recommend to family and friends....

garden was great, you can get sunshine in different directions, the way it is laid out. Difficult to describe on line! Classic Cottages are generally very good, but always expensive - but you get what you pay for. we were sooooo lucky with the weather ...

This was our 33rd short break with friends, we go away with them twice a year and always Cornwall. Bakery Cottage is right up in our top three. Firstly Mithian is a beautiful, peaceful village with a fabulous, friendly pub (The Miners Arms) that has great atmosphere and yummy food. The pub is only a 2 min stroll from the cottage. Bakery Cottage is so lovely, beautifully decorated, very comfortable, great bathrooms with good water pressure and very well equipped kitchen. The woodburner draws well too. It's in a lovely valley with great views from top part of garden. A welcome pack is provided inc butter, milk, prosecco, brownies, crisps plus there was tea/coffee/sugar. The proximity to beautiful beaches is a treat. Trevaunave Cove is cute but Porthtowan and Holywell Bay are stunning. Many more that we didn't have a chance to visit so need to return. Loved it. Thank you Anouska, your cottage is lush....

A very comfortable, cozy, quirky cottage with a garden full of hidden surprises.

A complete gem of a place; we loved our time at Bakery Cottage. We completely lucked out with the weather so took full advantage of its incredible garden from a morning coffee up on the slope watching the sun settle before our smaller one stirred to evening meals under the parasol. The bathrooms are incredible and living space really comfortable at the end of a day exploring the local area and further afield. All practical things catered for too: a store for sandy equipment, tumble dryer, good off road parking. Lovely, helpful hosts, friendly neighbours - both human and feathered. Hearing the owls at night-time was another highlight. Sincerely hope to return if the secret doesn't get out too much....
