A gem of a cottage , clean , warm , 2 lovely bathrooms , owls at night , everything you could want in and out , as a lovely garden too .

We had a fabulous stay, best equipped kitchen by far & soooo clean! Absolutely lovely cottage I have 2 terriers so needed to add a small amount of chicken wire to the back garden in case they escaped but that was me being over careful as I have 2 escape artists but garden is pretty enclosed for most dogs. Will definitely be returning :0) The pub in crawling distance is an added bonus too! ...

Absolutely loved our stay here. The cottage is beautifully furnished with every amenity and attention to detail. Great location near the pub and beaches!

Bakery Cottage exceeded our expectations from beginning to end. The quality of everything was exceptional especially the bathrooms which were gorgeous with fabulous showers and bath. We enjoyed sunny breakfasts in the light and airy sunroom and loved the many parts of the garden into which so much thought had been put. Anouska had solved a tricky last minute issue with the Wifi which was very kind and caused her considerable stress...we much appreciated her mighty efforts on this and so much else. The welcome goodies were locally sourced and delicious too, a very well received gift and echoed the attention to detail throughout. Being so close to the wonderful pub, The Miner's Arms, was a huge bonus and we should not have been surprised as it too is run by Anouska and Andy. From the magnificent Sunday roast to evening supper to cream/savoury teas we found the quality and quantities generous and delicious. Highly recommended! The local walks are in the most beautiful countryside in easy reach of the beaches where the swimming (wetsuit required!) is safe and in clean, crystal clear sea. The cottage is in a great position to explore this beautiful area but lovely to come home to at the end of the day. We were very sorry to leave and hope to return asap! ...

Bakery Cottage far surpasses expectation, both inside and out. The wonderful owners have refurbished the property to an exceptionally high standard with some fantastic finishing touches. If you're looking for peace and tranquillity then Bakery Cottage will deliver. The en-suite to the main bedroom is to die for and as for the bath in the main bathroom..... The location of the property is perfect for exploring the amazing North Cornwall coast and also offers short journey times to the South side of the county too. The village of Mithian is very small and centres around the most amazing pub, The Miners Arms. The welcome is simply second to none, the food is some of the best we've had in a pub (particularly a village pub) and the staff are the most amazing people and this all leads to the pub complementing the cottage so nicely. We visited in April 23 and were blessed with the weather, enjoyed walking locally with some breath-taking scenery and made the most of both St Agnes and Perranporth being on the doorstep. Please do not look past Bakery Cottage as it simply is a fantastic offering all round. ...

We're so grateful for your amazing review of Bakery Cottage - we'd have to agree that the Miners Arms is a fabulous and welcoming hub to the village, it's great to hear that you were able to make the most of that. We'd highly recommend a stroll up nearby St Agnes Beacon - the views are second to none and you can see an incredible 360 degree panorama of Cornwall from the top on a clear day!
