Having walked the South West Coast Path we're revisiting parts we marched through to take the time to explore the area more fully. Mousehole was a lovely location and Polvellan Heights made for a very comfortable base. With the sea and rock pool just across the road and the bus stop too and only a couple of minutes walk down to the harbour the property was situated beautifully. Recommended places to eat are the Deli Kitchen, The Kings Arms at Paul (ten minute walk away) and Fabio's in Newlyn where we also enjoyed a film at Newlyn's fabulous cinema. Always something to watch from the balcony and at the rear of the property (still with a sea view) some really comfortable garden furniture. A great welcome pack was provided which was very much appreciated. We had a great time!...

Polvellan Heights definitely exceeded our expectations. It was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and very well equipped. It lacked for nothing. The view, obviously, is second to none, and having a parking spot at the bottom of the steps is a huge bonus in Mousehole. We were blessed with lovely weather all week, so were able to take advantage of the balcony at the front, from where we thoroughly enjoyed watching the ships and boats out in the bay. With the village and harbour just a five minute walk away, it's in a great location, without having to negotiate the narrow streets in a car. We have been visiting Mousehole for years, and now that we have discovered Polvellan Heights, we see no reason to stop. We will definitely be back!...
