Definitely 'Far from the madding crowd'. Beautiful house, gorgous countryside. We especially loved the vintage interior. We would certainly recommend this house !

We had a lovely Christmas break at Meadowbank. The welcome pack and Christmas card was a lovely touch. As were the Christmas decorations. The very well equipped kitchen made catering for our party much easier. Porlock was beautiful as always.

Meadowbank is a stylish house in a stunning location. The views down into Porlock and out to the sea were wonderful to enjoy from the decking area. Porlock is a lovely village with great places to eat and interesting shops to browse in. The house was also a fantastic base for walking; there are multiple beautiful and varied walks straight from the door, we all wished our stay was longer so we could do them all!...
