Meadowbank is a spacious, stylish, well equipped and comfortable house with great views and the generous terrace invites outdoor eating and relaxing whenever the weather allows. We liked being able to walk into Porlock too. As mentioned in the description the steps down to the house are very steep so not suitable for those with mobility issues. We also found getting two cars in and out of the parking area a bit awkward. ...

A lovely elevated location with beautiful views from the property. The stone steps are steep at the front of the property and the parking is tight but neither caused too much of an issue. The walking from the house into woodland is nearby and we enjoyed venturing to Porlock Weir and Horner Tea Rooms....

We had a fabulous stay at Meadowbank taking full advantage of the many walks and amenities being easily accessible without always having to use the car. As well as being beautifully renovated with all mod cons along with some quirky retro fittings and posters, the property is in a wonderful location with views out over the recreation ground, the wooded valley and the Bristol Channel. When the night sky is clear you can really appreciate Exmoor being a designated Dark Sky area. The stars are amazing!...
