Lovely comfy stay at Smugglers. The perfect place to walk to the castle. Great location!!

Cosy cottage , very quiet with coastal walks and lovely views a short walk away.

The parking space was so bad. There is the house one side, a very thick wall the other side & then for some reason a white metal pole. The turning circle is very tight. I have a 2-year-old Renault Captur which was scratched on the second morning! A great start to the break! I caught the wall & scratched my bumper trying not to hit anything else! All very unnecessary, this could have easily been avoided. I understand a defined space may be needed for some guests, but the pole could have been moved further down or another definite line put in place! For this reason alone, I would not recommend the property. Apart from that it was great. We loved it there. Perfect location & perfect property. The neighbours next door woke my wife up twice but that to be expected with a stone driveway. Any car bigger than a standard car or small SUV would really struggle. My Kia Sportage would never have got in the gap because of that pole! The car couldn't be left on the road either as the farm track was in constant use & people drive quickly down there.

Thanks so much for your review, we're so sorry to hear that you had some difficulties with the parking space. Yours is the first comment we've received about the space, but we'll definitely take a look to see if anything needs to be changed to make life easier. Despite this, we're delighted that the location and property itself worked well for you. Thanks for taking the time to respond. Tanya, Customer Support

Well appointed and positioned cottage that affords easy access to Tintagel, the coastal paths and other amenities. Owners are very helpful and go out of their way to ensure guests enjoy their stay. Nice welcome pack. Beware of the letter J in the password - don't get caught out like me - it is a capital J and not a small j!!!!

Lovely cottage...great walks, great location, would defintely go again..thank you classic cottages for all accurate info and making booking so easy, very helpful staff.

Website easy to use communication very good.

Lovely cottage, small but cosy and warm. Facilities are good, with a very good shower! Excellent location, 15 minutes walk into Tintagel where there are local shops, and several footpaths nearby including the Coast Path to Tintagel and Trebarwith Strand. The cottage is on a road but very little traffic and we didn't find it a problem. Good places to visit are Pencarrow and St Nectan's Glen, which was magical.

Fantastic location for walking the SW Coast path & a comfy bed. Have emailed classic with detailed feedback. Thank you.

We hope you enjoyed walking the coast path - that stretch of the north coast can be quite a challenge! Tanya, Customer Support

The cottage was close enough to town to walk into but far enough to be quiet . The street lights made it safe to walk into the town at night safely

Thoroughly enjoyed our days at smugglers, ideally situated for coastal walks, Tintagel just a stones throw away and Trebarwith Strand was a great find. Clean, comfortable accommodation made for a very relaxing break.

Smugglers Cottage was absolutely perfect and a great location! We had a brilliant break!!

Smugglers cottage is perfectly situated for easy access to the coastal path. It was very clean, comfortably furnished, and very warm and welcoming. The log burner was a cosy addition!

Well situated lovely comfortable cottage with good views. Walk down the adjacent lane to the coast leading to a beautiful old church (St Materiana's). Easy to take a relaxed walk or a short drive to the town, the castle or for lovely coastal walks There are plenty of local interesting places to visit, Port Isaac and Boscastle are two well known spots but everyone should make time to visit nearby St Nectans Glen and waterfall for its beauty and tranquility.
