Overall a lovely cottage in a peaceful location. The rear conservatory really is a delight and we spent most of our time in there. The kitchen is well equipped and spotlessly clean. Comfy beds, nice linens, clean bathrooms and fluffy towels made for a comfortable stay. Our boys enjoyed all the games on the rainy day we had. Peaceful setting. As with previous reviews the garden is nice and open but it is open to the lane. The driveway entrance was definitely a challenge with an estate car and the drive to the village shop is not for the faint hearted - but wonderful when you get there. ...

This property had a lot of problems when we arrived including the fitting of a new hot water tank. However they were resolved after our first week, unlike the next door neighbour who liked to use his leaf blower at 8am & then a few hours whizzing around on his sit-upon lawn mower before using his digger & dumper truck !!! So much for a peaceful country cottage !!!!...

It really was so unfortunate that so much had gone wrong on your stay here; we can completely appreciate your frustration and disappointment with this. We would like to stress that this really isn't the norm at The Cobbles. Occasional maintenance issues have cropped up, like what is experienced at any other property, where things go wrong from time to time, as they do in our own homes, but this really was an unusual level of to have cropped up at the same time. Additionally, we have only ever had feedback about how peaceful the location is up to now, so we are so sorry that this was not typical of what others have reported to us, especially after all the inconvenience you had experienced during your time there already. We hope that how it was handled by both us and the owner helped to reassure you that we were all doing everything possible to help get your holiday back on track. Thank you for your understanding and patience. Classic Cottages...

The Cobbles is a lovely place to stay and the orangery is lovely to spend time in and just chill with the family. It is very well located, we chose to enter/exit over the ford as this seemed the better road to/from the cottage. So much to see and do in the area including bike rides along the Camel trail, Padstow, coastal walks, lovely meal at St Kew Inn, farmshop at St Kew also great. Couple of issues with the Wifi/TV during our stay but all in all a nice stay....

We spent a fantastic week at The Cobbles, it excelled our expectations. It was very clean and tidy, the decor and whole ambience of this delightful cottage contributed to a very special holiday! The location was perfect for our sightseeing, entertainment, and peaceful quiet evenings. It certainly ticked all the boxes for my wife, two 12 year old boys, our dog, and myself!...

We had a wonderful time at The Cobbles!! We recommend it for a holiday to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. All you can hear is the birdsong. Our elderly dog absolutely loved the lounge. She did not want to leave, infact she sulked all of the way home. We loved the Orangery, the sofas were so comfortable and it was so lovely watching and listening to the birds, and having time to read a book. The bedrooms were cosy, and the downstairs shower was amazing! We used that bathroom more than the other bathrooms. Be warned the garden is not dog secure. This property is close to the beaches of Padstow, Rock, Newquay and the stunning Fistral Bay!...
