A fantastic, modern, spotlessly clean cabin with superb views in a secluded and quiet spot. We saw pheasants, deer, rabbits, foxes and a myriad of bird life from the comfort of the sofa. Our property (Greenways) had a great little covered area just outside the bedroom to enjoy breakfast or an evening drink and watch the wildlife and activity on the Dart estuary. Well located within a decent walking distance of Agatha Christie’s home, plenty of walks & coastal path to explore & easy access to local towns including Brixham, Totnes & Dartmouth. We had a lovely week even though the weather was disappointing but would 100% recommend a stay here!...

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hideaway was extremely comfortable and well equipped, the location was excellent with many wonderful things to see and do in the area but best of all was waking up to that view every morning.

If booking this lodge via Classic Cottages be aware of the implication of their poorly designed website. You may think you have booked a two bed lodge but if there are only 2 of you going then they assume you want a 2 person discount and only provide one bed and one bathroom. This may not suit everyone and is not at all clear on the Classic Cottages web site. The lodge and the views are great - the Classic Cottages web site is not. ...

Wonderful view and perfect location over the river Dart, Very peaceful. The lodge was top quality, everything you could need and it was very clean. We had a puncture on the morning we were leaving and a very kind gentleman that worked on the estate helped us get enough air in the tyre to get to a local garage. We hope to visit again very soon!...
