Sea Poppy

Sea Poppy is clean, in good overall condition, comfortable and very well equipped. It is also in an outstanding location in a very pretty part of the coastline. And it is not too difficult to get into Kingsbridge for supplies. The last mile of access to the cottage/apartment is no more narrow than many access roads for coastal properties in Devon and Cornwall - but it is, relatively speaking, well used by e.g. delivery vans as well as holidaymaker's cars. From my experience of previous Classic cottages, this section of road also has a relative lack of passing places. Therefore, in my opinion, as long as you are confident about reversing you car a couple of hundred yards in a narrow lane, should this be needed, then you will be OK and very happy at Sea Poppy....

We enjoyed our stay very much - such a great location so near the beach, and being backed by a large area of grass was perfect for the dog.

We had an amazing stay at Sea Poppy The view is absolutely stunning waking up to the sound of waves and panoramic ocean scenery was an unforgettable experience. The location couldn’t be better peaceful and relaxing, yet just a short walk or drive to local shops, restaurants, and sights. Sea Poppy itself is spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. There was plenty of room to relax, both indoors and out, and it felt like a true home away from home. Whether you're enjoying a morning coffee on the patio or watching the sunset from the living room, this place makes it easy to unwind. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a tranquil escape by the sea. I’m already looking forward to coming back!...

This was our second stay at Sea Poppy. It's an excellent location for coastal walks and has an outstanding view across the bay towards Thurlestone. One of our group has limited movement so the downstairs bedroom & shower room and the stairlift upstairs to the main living area are just perfect. The cottage is well equipped with everything you generally need and the separate swimming pool ; sauna and games room are an added bonus. We hope to be returning again next year....

Great sea views and walking! House was good for six of us, including two teenage grandchildren. Bring 20p coins for pool table. Good firm beds and at least one firm sofa was appreciated. Beach hut cafe nearby is great but we thought VERY expensive. We had a great time at Sea Poppy!...
