Hi we have been here twice now and would recommend staying if you enjoy a rural environment to explore Cornwall from. The home is comfortable and easy to settle into and the hosts are friendly and engaging.

A spotlessly clean and nicely presented cottage. Very spacious for two people. Very friendly owners, and friendly pets as well - the chicken, the horses, Winston the cat and also the dog. The location is quiet, but many places of interest are easily accessible. Don't forget to visit Carn Euny or Chysauster, St Just, Sennen and Cape Cornwall. We hope to be back! ...

Fantastic property. Very relaxing and peaceful.

If you want a meal with a view of St Michaels Mount then go to the Fire Engine pub (small car park) in Marazion. Ask for Table 5 when booking.

Swallows Rest is a real find and ideal for a couple who want to get away from it all and in an great position with walks from the cottage. We were met by the owners who were really helpful and knowledgeable. The kitchen had everything needed for your self catering stay, the bed was really comfortable and the shower room delightful. We were very lucky with the weather and visited old haunts including Mousehole, Newlyn and St Just. One of the highlights of our stay was front row seats to see the Fisherman's Friends at the Minack! Loved our stay and will definitely be returning. ...

We spent 4 nights at Swallows Rest and it is a real gem in a really quiet location, although the owners are on hand should you need anything. The cottage had a very comfortable bed and sofa and lovely soft furnishings , as well as an excellent shower and really spacious shower room. We had excellent weather and were able to walk up to Sancreed Beacon, from Botallack to Levant Mine ( pick up a picnic from On The Square in St Just) and to Cape Cornwall and Priests Cove. There is an excellent farm shop at St Buryan, and other shops at St Buryan or St Just for everyday shopping. Ralph the dog said hello on arrival and Winston, the soft and friendly cat sat with us on the bench each evening basking in the sunshine. We will certainly be back to Swallows Rest in the future - l imagine it is really cosy in the colder months with the log burner....
