We highly recommend a stay at Mowhay Barn and have already looked at when we could come back. Here's why... peace and quiet, fields, sky, and sea. Extremely spacious rooms, nicely decorated, French gite style kitchen with plenty of equipment, white washed walls, oak floors, 3 bathrooms with hot power showers or a bubble bath, soft white towels and linen, comfortable pillows and beds. Dark bedrooms. Lovely welcome basket (tea, coffee, sugar, milk, butter, sourdough loaf, bicuits etc). CLEAN! Wood burner with huge supply of logs. Large TV. Good wifi. Fast heating. Quiet safe garden. Dark sky and stars. Shed to store body boards and paddleboards. Lovely friendly, conscientious owners. Safe (dog) walks from the door and to the coast path in an hour. Less than 10 minute drive to all of.... Porthcurno, Sennen Cove, Minnack theatre, small shops, quaint pubs, fish and chips, ice creams, and surf lodges with great food and live music. One comment for those not familiar with Cornwall....the lanes are narrow in places and as its name suggests this is a barn conversion in rural farmland with a remote feel to it. We loved the cottage, so spacious and clean and yet homely. The tiny hamlet location was peaceful, natural but not too far from amenities. We did have a hiccup with the new Hive system on the last day but Sharon from Classic Cottages was so attentive, as was the cottage owner who probably spent about an hour of his evening getting the hot water working for us....
