Had a wonderful stay here, all enjoyed our week there from quiet days relaxing in the grounds, exploring the village and using the playground, tennis court and watching a local cricket match. The facilities at Trafalgar Barton exceeded our expectations and with its proximity to Exmouth, Sidmouth and Lyme Regis made it perfect for a extended family break....

Amazingly generous space -- we were able to be outside in the sunshine but if it had been pouring with rain there would still have been plenty of room inside for twelve of us (three generations) to have spread out without getting on top of each other (exceptionally high ratio of sofas to occupants!). Excellent outdoor seating (with shade) to take advantage of the position looking across the valley with buzzards circling overhead; and one night we ate outside under the full (Buck) moon -- unforgettable. A memorable holiday, and hard to imagine a better base for it....

A fabulous Edwardian property with great views and a welcoming huge hall and staircase. Plenty of room for eating, TV watching, playing games, chatting and three generations had a wonderful get-together.
