A lovely cottage in a peaceful setting. Great walks from the doorstep. Good food at Peter Tavy Inn.
MISS PEREIRA August 2026
What a wonderful stay at this lovely homely cottage on the edge of Dartmoor. Little Oaks is delightful, spotlessly clean, well equipped and a pleasure to stay in. The 'no pets' policy also suited us and the cottage smelt fresh Dormer windows provided a little view of the gorgeous countryside aloong with much needed breeze and ventilation during the hot weather. The recently installed ceiling fans also made a huge difference to our comfort. Hosts, Davina (& Russell), are warm, friendly, welcoming and very hospitable. Davina ensured all was well during our stay (without being instrusive) and we enjoyed her company along with helpful suggestions and recommendations for local attractions and activities. We would highly recommend this cosy cottage for its cleanliness, facilities and location coupled with the warm hospitality of the owners...

The apartment was very light and airy. The tranquility was delightful. Davina and her husband were on hand if we needed anything. The location is pretty and very handy for Tavistock, a charming riverside town with lots of amenities. Lots of activities locally. Two nice pubs, one of which is walkable across a field....
