We enjoyed a perfect and relaxing holiday in the superb converted "OldTreboul Barn" in a beautiful location. The accommodation was very clean and everything available you need for a good stay. Jon and Alison, the owners, were very welcoming and helpful with a lot of interesting informations. Thank you very much, ganz herzlichen Dank!

This property was stunning, owners are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful., while still ensuring privacy. They had a wealth of knowledge about the property and area. This is on the list of our top vacations! Very relaxing and beautiful views. Cannot say enough about it!

We had a peaceful stay at Old Treboul Barn, the views and surrounding areas were beautiful.

We found the instructions to get to the Barn easy to follow and there is a designated parking space outside of the Barn which is handy for carrying in all of your things.

There were lots of comfortable seating areas outside to spend time and also blankets, cushions provided for the evenings and cooler days. There also is BBQ provided and logs for the indoor log burner.

In the kitchen there is an under counter fridge and separate under counter freezer. We were provided with milk, coffee, tea, biscuits and a vase with fresh flowers in. There were also some sponges, tea towels, hand wash and washing up liquid to get you started.

There are a total of 3 toilets one upstairs in the en-suite, one in the bathroom and one on the ground floor where it is separated with a sliding door from the utility room which has a washing machine and a clothes horse/drying rack.

There is also a cupboard to put coats and boots in etc.

The water pressure was very good. The showers & baths were great.

The property inside was clean, but could have benefited from a better dusting in certain areas.

Some of the lighting around the property was too bright for us, especially in the bathroom going to the toilet during the night. We would have liked lower wattage bulbs/dimmer switches to give ambience and a warmer feel especially for the bedroom and lounge/sitting room areas.

The TV picture quality/colour was poor, so we ended up using our Chromebook.

The bath and hand towels were a bit hard for us to use and could have benefited from some fabric conditioner.

The mattress in the main bedroom was too soft for our liking and the duvet was too heavy, a lighter summer tog could have been an option provided.

We found both sofas in the living room uncomfortable to sit on and would benefit from the upholstery seating foam being replaced.

We would have liked more drinking glasses of different sizes and larger cereal bowls.

We loved staying in this area of Cornwall as it is less busier than other parts especially during the summer months.

Expect a warm welcome to a beautifully refurbished barn. Plenty of places interest in the area and some very fine dining.

We had a wonderful stay at Old Treboul Barn. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. We felt really home from home. The views from the cottage are stunning, overlooking the rolling hills with pastures and woods. It was so quiet and peaceful. St Germans railway station is a short 30 minutes walk over the hill. There we took a train to St Ives. A two hour ride across Cornwall. Amazing! The South West Coast Path is nearby. The owners Alison and Jon are very kind and helpful. Thanks a lot to you both.

Had a wonderful holiday, accommodation very clean and everything you need for a good holiday. Jon very helpful with information about places to visit.

Old Treboul Barn is situated in rolling countryside. The barn is beautiful and extremely well equipped. A real home from home Although the barn is not in a village St Germans is only a couple of miles away and Looe is a short drive over lovely country roads.

We enjoyed our stay in Jon and Alison's accomodation. They were excellent hosts, immediately responding if we had questions and helpful where they could (by helping to make our stay even better, giving tips on where to go etc)

The accomodation itself is fully equipped, very clean and (especially the outside) very nice. We would recommend this to everyone who wants to enjoy silence and/or explore Cornwall and Devon.

We enjoyed our stay at the Old Treboul very much. The owners were very friendly and helpful, the house is much more than a barn and very well furnished and the view is great. We will certainly come back
