Quiet location with a wonderful view over the bay of St. Mawes! Nice to spend a day or more at Carricknath with swimming , BBQ, going buy ferry to Falmouth or enjoying the harbour. Good jumping-off-point for trips to a lot of sights and nice places to vistit, also a few beaches like Pothcurnick. Cosy home very well equipped! A place to return to!...

A spacious bungalow with excellent views and nicely furnished. If you’re not used to hills you could find the walk up and down to the harbour challenging as well as the steep drive at the bungalow! We enjoyed many walks in the area including getting a bus from St Mawes to St Just in Roseland (coffee and cake at the cafe) and walking back along the estuary to St Mawes. Also a great lunch at the Hidden Hut followed by a trip on the King Harry Ferry to Trellissick (NT)....

This property has amazing views, it’s a short steep walk to the harbour front where you can enjoy the little shops, crabbing or catch a ferry to Falmouth. St.Mawes castle is also worth a visit. The layout of the property is good benefitting from two bathrooms and a utility room, the bedrooms are also comfortable. The property is away from a main road, so quiet even with the single glazing. The location and view were the selling point of this property for us. St Mawes is a lovely place to stay....
