Coastguards is a stylish, well equipped property. We loved the fact that it has plenty of space for larger groups including families but also worked well for a smaller group of friends as each lounge is very cosy. Downstairs rooms flow beautifully from one to the other, and upstairs the bedrooms and bathrooms are simple and immaculate. We loved the location for walks from the doorstep to the coast and beaches, or cross country to the estuary and the Place Ferry to St Mawes...

Fantastic location for walkers, the views are utterly beautiful. If you are looking for peace and quiet and a place to retreat to, look no further. The traditional house was beautifully and comfortably furnished and generous with equipment for a large number of guests. The walks to Towan beach, St Anthony and Place not to be missed. It should be noted its not great for anyone with mobility or visibility issues because of the many levels, equally the walks are challenging for the same reason. Parking most of the year no problem, in the busy season more difficult to navigate because of the many visitors to nearby properties. It is isolated, although the Waitrose delivery on arrival was top notch. It is a place that you could spend a month writing a book and be utterly happy - park the car and forget about it! ...

We had the most wonderful week at Coastguards. It’s our third visit so we clearly love it and hope to go back. The proximity to the coast is wonderful and there are beautiful walks from the house. The nearby beach is stunning and lovely to have the Thirstea Café there for snacks and to wash sandy feet. Altogether perfect! ...

This is a wonderful cottage, beautifully appointed and very comfortable with lovely views. Great location and loved all the thoughtful touches - everything you could want for in the kitchen and bathrooms, extras such as throws, games, books, and wide range of comfy seating. Only advisory would be the garden is only secure for the smallest of dogs; our medium-large four legged friend jumped straight over the wall and into the lane on arrival so had to be kept on the lead for evetu garden moment. Otherwise, an idyllic family holiday spot close to fantastic walks, beaches, pubs and places of interest....

Really good Property in a really good location. We liked it so much that we have already booked it again for next year.
