We had a lovely stay at Stable cottage,a good location, easy to get to Dartmoor and the coast.

We had a wonderful stay at Stable Cottage, despite the inclement weather! The owners had made every effort to make this a home-from-home and provided so many additional touches. I would definitely recommend Stable Cottage for a getaway. The furnishings are lovely and comfortable and we felt very welcome. We also did a few long hikes on Dartmoor so a great location for keen walkers.

What a lovely position and we found it exactly as described. The cottages patio was private and has its own access through a gate, to get up onto the moor. The cottage was lovely and we had everything we needed, and Linda made sure we knew to let her know if we felt we needed anything else. The weather was unseasonal but that didn’t spoil things. Plenty of opportunity for star gazing and relaxing, and Linda’s homemade afternoon tea was the most lovely welcome pack at a holiday cottage that we’ve ever had. ...
