Stable Cottage is a charming single-storey dwelling in a tiny hamlet where the owners live conveniently close by should you have any questions, but your privacy is assured. As soon as you enter the light and bright living space from the kitchen you will be captivated. The cosy sitting/dining-room has patio doors which lead out to the secluded patio and garden where you can sit and take in the peaceful surroundings. The gorgeous wood-burner will keep you warm during cooler months and the comfy sofas invite you to kick back and relax in front of the Smart TV with full Sky TV package (including Sports, Cinema, Netflix and Paramount+) the ideal way to unwind after a busy day. A dining-area sits off the sitting-room with a beautiful, hand-crafted table where guests can gather round to discuss the plans for the day. The separate kitchen has all you will need and there's even a slimline dishwasher so there will be no fighting over the washing up here! Bedroom one has lovely countryside views and a comfy king-size bed to ensure a great night's sleep. Bedroom two has the benefit of a 'zip and link' bed so you have the flexibility to choose between twin beds or a super-king double. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over for either a relaxing soak or a refreshing shower.

Outside Stable Cottage is a dream and you will want to spend every waking moment taking in the peace and tranquility here. A secluded patio sits outside the sitting-room inviting you to enjoy al fresco dining from dawn until dusk, or perhaps you would prefer to sit on the garden bench in the field behind and immerse yourself in the countryside as the owners also invite you to enjoy their own two acres of gardens; they recommend pouring a glass of wine, heading to the bench at the top of the garden and watching the sun set whilst soaking in the view. With an abundance of walks and bike rides starting right from the doorstep, Stable Cottage is perfect for a rural getaway, yet the coast and beaches are a mere 30 minute drive away!

Dartmoor National Park is renowned for its wild landscape, stunning vistas and abundant wildlife. With forests, rivers, historic monuments and even ponies roaming the wild landscapes, there is always something to see and do here. Stable Cottage is just outside Ivybridge, a quirky town named after the medieval packhorse bridge which crosses the river Erme. With a good selection of eclectic shops independent boutiques and eateries, this is a great place to stock up on holiday treats. If a day at the seaside is on the cards, jump in the car and head off to the stunning south coast of Devon where you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to golden sandy beaches. Perhaps the pretty coastal villages of Wembury or Noss Mayo are calling, or Bigbury-on-Sea, renowned for its spectacular beach and water sports. At low tide walk over the sands to Burgh Island and take the sea tractor when the tide is high.
