As you walk around the Somerset Levels you may glimpse Glastonbury Tor or hear the mysterious booming of a bittern. It's a magical landscape at any time of year and is very popular with bird watchers and natural history lovers.
If you fancy a challenging walk then head to Cheddar Gorge with it's fabulous paths and exhilarating view. It'll take your breath away!

We had a great time at Minstrels. The stay was very comfortable. The cottage had everything we needed. We loved the welcome treats. The hosts were available to answer any questions. My 9yo son loved that the cottage had ‘hidden spots’ to explore. We visited Wells and Cheddar Gorge. We also did day out to Bath and Cwmcarn Forest worth the visit. Thank you for having us! The treats welcoming us were delicious. The accommodation had plenty of private indoor and outdoor space to relax together. We enjoyed how kitted out the kitchen was too for those who like cooking.

Lovely stay at this cosy cottage. The property had everything we needed and more. As we were staying in December we didn't use the outdoor space but can imagine it having lots of use in the summer. The cottage is well situated for visits to Glastonbury, Wells and the nearby Avalon Marshes where we enjoyed the walks and bird watching. It also has a very good Visitor Centre. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again for longer....
