Octopus House was a great base to explore St Mawes and the surrounding areas. We travelled as a group with two small children, the house was well equipped and had all essentials needed for a week away from home. The house was larger in real life and worked well for families sharing. The living area was a great sociable space and the bedrooms were decorated to high standard. Octopus House is an excellent property very close to the front and centre of St Mawes. The only thing to be aware of is the steep road which could be a problem for some people walking back to the property.

If anything you have undersold the property. Superb house and very well equipped. The hill to the house is a challenge but we accepted it as part of the fun and its only 5 minutes - you can drive around if you can be bothered to - we usually didn't.
