Our second stay at The Nest, very comfortable accommodation. Good WiFi and a lovely walk in shower. Netflix on the TV was a bonus as the weather wasn’t great this time.

The Nest is in a lovely location with far reaching views of Exmoor. This is a modern, comfortable, well equipped cottage, presented to an excellent standard with the added bonus of a wood burner for cosy nights in. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, essential when a cottage is set in a remote location, and a real pleasure to cook in. The addition of allocated outside garden and parking spaces were also a nice touch. Starting my Cancer Charity 100 day walk from here, I spent 5 days walking the coastal path from Minehead to Coombe Martin and found the daily travelling to the coast both scenic and enjoyable. The walk itself was incredible as I climbed 9,000 feet and walked 44 miles in 5 days on some of the most stunning and challenging sections the 630 mile path has to offer. The Nest is one of the best self catering cottages we have stayed in. It is finished to a very high standard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here; it exceeded our expectations. The location and aspect are wonderful, being on an elevated position and having extensive views out of both north and south facing windows is a unique feature, which we thought added value to the stay. Highly recommended....
